Book Review: Love Casts Out Fear

I recently finished reading Love Casts Out Fear by Brother Nathan. Wow! What an inspiring read! Brother Nathan has experienced much pain in his life, and yet he has not allowed it to make him bitter. His life is a shining example of the power of God’s forgiveness. This autobiography is extremely fast-paced, and I read it within a few hours! I simply couldn’t put down such an inspiring read! I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to find inspiration in this difficult time of conflict and violence in the Middle East. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Book Review: Vendetta

I recently finished reading Vendetta by Lisa Harris. While this book had its entertaining moments, I found it to be a little predictable and cliche. The premise was interesting, and I was intrigued to see how things would turn out. Overall, I felt that the situations in this book didn’t really have that significant of an impact on the characters or the future books in this series. The romance? Eh, I wasn’t impressed. Sure, they aren’t admitting their feelings or whatever, but it is so obvious it’s almost painful to read. Also, the villain in the story felt a little like a cop out to me. Not fully developed and- like the romance- very obvious, at least to me. Not boring to read, but slightly tired feeling. I probably won’t continue in this series. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Book Review: Love Everlasting

To be quite honest, I couldn’t even finish this book. I’m not sure if my tastes have changed or what the case may be. All I know is, from the very first page, I was rolling my eyes. Close your eyes for a moment. Picture a typical Christian romance. That’s it. That’s the book. The end. Very predictable and tedious. It definitely wasn’t for me. Also, this is not the kind of book that you can just pick up without reading the first one in the series, although that book was about a completely different character. Trust me, I was lost. If you are unfamiliar with Christian romance, or if you’ve never read a Tracie Peterson novel, then you might enjoy this. Keep in mind that you won’t be blown away by any means. I received this novel from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
