Book Review: They Were Christians

I recently finished reading They Were Christians by Cristóbal Krusen. What an inspiring read! While I had at some point in my education learned about the faith of a few of these men and women, for the most part, this book provided entirely new information on the spiritual lives of some of the world’s greatest humans. A great deal of these important people had very unimportant starts in the world, but through their devout faith in God, they changed the world for the better and left a lasting legacy. I enjoyed the length of each biography, and I never felt bored while reading this book. I also appreciated the little peeks into Cristóbal Krusen’s life at the beginning and end of each biography. It was almost like a mini-memoir, and it was very effective in weaving all the biographies together. Overall, this was a fantastic and inspiring read. If you desire to leave a legacy of faith in this often dark world, take some time to read They Were Christians. You will leave feeling ready to truly live. I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my fair and honest review.
